A comparative analysis of monuments in Eastern and Western civilizations from the 15th century to the present, with particular emphasis on interior space. The Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassicism versus the Ottomans. The Safavids and the Moguls till the 19th century, 19th and 20th century developments such as the industrial revolution and the effects on the built environment, Internationalism, Regionalism, Modernism and Post Modernism.
