COMD 352 Internet Technologies and Electronic Commerce

The course will cover the technological infrastructure that enables electronic commerce. Issues included are Internet, Intranets, Extranets, search facilities and engines, security, authentication, and privacy, electronic payment systems and electronic commerce services. Organizational challenges on developing appropriate business models are discussed with respect to the simultaneous response and online threats to the existing models.
